When:
Wednesdays 7pm-9pm
January 8- February 12

What to expect:

Week 1—The Power of Pause
During this week, we will begin to reframe how we approach creative expression. Our time will on releasing attachment to results and shift into creating as restorative play. If you experience a lot of shame or pressure around creating, this session will gently nudge you to drop your shoulders and experience art as you would have in childhood.

Week 2—Honoring the Dark
As we embrace that dark seasons are part of our natural cycle, we will experiment with contrast in our painting. This practice reveals how contrast brings depth into our work and experience.

Week 3—Seeking Creative Refuge in Nature
This week we will study ways to co-create with nature to bring grounding energy to our work.

Week 4—Self-Compassion
During this week, we will soften…soften…soften more. Our focus will be on addressing the critic voice with authority that we’re in control and its safe to slow down.

Week 5—Reframing Productivity
Our focus this week will be establishing new ways to think about our time spent churning out tasks, filling our calendars or going to bed with the dread that we didn’t do enough.

Week 6—The Rituals
We crave rituals and confuse that with rigid routines. During our final gathering, we will reflect on painting and mark-making exercises that you can continue to practice moving forward.
