COLORSPELL

Amanda here—Camps at Colorspell are designed to hold safe space for messy play because as an abstract artist, I know that the magic happens through curiosity, exploration and developing a gentler critic’s voice. I keep my camps small so I have the opportunity to work with each child to encourage their creative problem-solving and to sincerely discuss their work. After many requests, we will be doing 5 day camps this year but shifting our gathering time to 11am-1pm. This gives me an opportunity to ease into the day with my own children (who often tag along to help) and let’s our group take time to picnic together, which is a sweet opportunity for community-building. Early-bird pricing will be available until March 1 as a thank you for investing in our little, blue studio.
